Landscape & Green Space Consulting

Planting design, climate-adapted species selection and maintenance programmes for urban and industrial green space.

Service overview

Green space planted with the wrong species imposes maintenance costs for years and still fails to deliver. Farkesht's consulting starts at species selection — plants suited to the local climate, water quality and soil salinity, and less thirsty over the long run.

Work opens with a site assessment: analysis of the substrate soil, review of irrigation water source and quality, recording of microclimate conditions and inspection of existing irrigation infrastructure. From this we compile a species shortlist that is both climatically appropriate and visually consistent with how the space is used.

Next comes the planting plan and recommended density, together with an estimate of annual water demand. On larger projects we also write a pre-planting soil remediation plan — a stage that is routinely skipped and later shows up as weak growth and leaf chlorosis.

After implementation you receive a maintenance calendar: pruning schedule, fertilisation, pest monitoring and irrigation adjustments. For industrial estates and municipalities, training the in-house maintenance crew is part of the contract.

Benefits

  • Markedly lower water demand through adapted species
  • Reduced long-term maintenance cost
  • Fewer losses among first-year plantings
  • A planting scheme that matches how the space is actually used

How it runs

  1. Site assessment

Visit, substrate and irrigation water analysis, microclimate recording.

  2. Species selection

Propose species matched to the site's climate and water quality.

  3. Planting design

Planting layout, density, water demand estimate and soil remediation plan.

  4. Maintenance and training

Hand over the maintenance calendar and train the client's crew.

Common questions about this service

Is the initial site visit and consultation charged?

No. The first specialist visit and preliminary consultation are free. Charges begin at the laboratory analysis and bespoke programme stage, and are stated transparently before any work starts.

Which provinces do you cover?

Our head office is in Isfahan and orchard and greenhouse management projects run mainly across Isfahan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Yazd, Kerman and Fars. Trunk-injection services and fertiliser sales are available nationwide.
